AIA is an authorized IB World School offering the The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP). IB Mission Statement: The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. AIA School is a candidate school* for the PYP. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. Some schools around the world have made the choice to include Values Education as a subject. At AIA, we have deliberately chosen NOT to have Values as a separate subject. Rather, our aim is to live our values throughout every single subject with the Learner Profile providing a wonderful base.
Thus, our teaching and learning units are ‘packed’ with values’ attributes such as caring, principled, open-minded, internationally-minded, reflective, collaborative.
