In my long years of experience, generations of students have come through these doors and graduated and grown to become young men and women of whom I am extremely proud. Many of them are now parents themselves and have entrusted us with their own children. This is the legacy which carries us through the years and which will lead us to the future. Over the years, our website has morphed into more than just a portal that provides information. It has now become the gateway to the very heart of our school. It is an interactive, thriving core which feeds from the entire school community and provides documentation of their life, its transitions and accomplishments.
I believe the Modern English School Cairo to be the cradle of knowledge and the safe haven we all search for and crave, for both ourselves and our children. While honouring our culture, ethics and traditions, we also recognise that we need to be cognizant of the future and its ever-changing trends and improvements. The future is quite literally at our doorstep everyday. It is a responsibility we take very seriously.

Mission Statement
Modern English School Cairo is a learning community which provides a high quality education for children from Foundation Stage 1 to university entrance level, serving the needs of Egyptian and international families in Cairo. Our broad education is based upon the British Curriculum in Primary. In Secondary, we offer a choice between a British Curriculum, an American Curriculum and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Arabic and Religious Studies are taught throughout the school.
