“Our vision is only actionable if we share it. Without sharing, it is just a figment of our imagination”, Simon Sinek. This quote describes what the Hayah founders embarked on as they imagined, planned, shared and finally recruited an entire community to create what we call today the Hayah family and home, a community widely embracing our core values.
A vision has many attributes such as paving the way for the future, being inspiring and challenging, as well as being unique in its proposition and purposefulness. Hayah passionately wore these attributes as it navigated the last 20 years. The next decades will require us to do the same with a new lens; one that is packaged with the stamina and grit to secure and expand Hayah’s vision in light of the local and global educational changes and innovations.
At the mark of 20 years, the vivid translation of the Hayah vision into a successful physical reality invited us to expand and grow with the launch of Hayah West. Today, we have two Hayah homes across the different polar sides of Cairo; the main campus in New Cairo and Hayah West in Sheikh Zayed City.
Hayah prides itself in being a family; a home to its staff, students, alumni and families. The volute of life continues as our community grows year after year. Today we find Hayah alumni impacting many career areas trusting they have reached out to their core foundation: their Hayah core values. We are eager to provide more opportunities for students in Egypt to find meaning and purpose in their lives and positively impact local and global communities.

School Goals
Hayah is committed to working on the goals listed below as part of its plan for growth and improvement. These goals were developed by a Planning Team of Hayah stakeholders through a process of careful examination of the needs of the school. The Planning Team will continue to monitor the development and implementation of these goals, analyze student achievement data, and periodically share progress with all stakeholders.
Campus & Facilities
The school campus is located over a land lot of 55,000 square meters. The building’s full print at maturity will occupy less than 30% of the land leaving over 30,000 square meters for outdoors and recreational areas. The building’s area and outdoors can accommodate 3,800 students according to local regulations. However, we currently accommodate only 1600 to ensure quality space and facilities for each student.
Hayah’s campus facilities are aimed at giving its students the most well-rounded education and exposure possible with Academic, Artistic and Sports facilities for all. Classes within the school buildings are either equipped with smart boards or data shows as the school aims to promote interactive learning. Hayah has six specialized science labs fully equipped to cater to the different age groups and curriculums. All Chemistry labs are equipped with two fume hoods and all the labs adhere to high safety standards with emergency field blankets, showers, and eye washstands.
To allow students to get in touch with and develop their visual, acoustic, and expressive artistic abilities, Hayah’s arts rooms are spacious and fully equipped with different medians to help the students develop in a comfortable environment. Hayah has 5 computer labs with 25 computers in each. iPads and tablets are learning tools inside the PYP classrooms as well. A state of the art Maker Space Lab with 3D printers supports the STEAM program at school equipped to run robotics and coding classes as well as all other STEAM branches. The ICT department adopts an open-source software policy allowing students to experiment with the software outside of the classroom as well as inside. The school also allows a “bring your own equipment” policy making it possible for students to learn using the hardware they are most comfortable with.
